Abstract: As of March 28, 2025, the Three Gorges Dam ship locks have run for nearly 22 years with safety and stability, the ship locks have opened the gates for 212,000 times, estimated1.065 million vessels, carried 12.282 million passengers, and handled a total of 2.2 billion tons of cargo passing through, according to the Three Gorges Navigation Authority. 

三峡船闸累计货运量达22亿吨

记者从长江三峡通航管理局获悉，截至2025年3月28日，三峡船闸已安全稳定运行近22周年，累计运行21.2万闸次，通过船舶106.5万艘次，通过旅客1228.2万人次，过闸货运量达22亿吨，这些货物若装满40尺集装箱货柜（有效载荷约26吨），首尾相接可绕地球赤道25.8圈。

自2003年6月18日正式向社会船舶开放通航以来，这座设计年通过能力1亿吨的“水上楼梯”保持高效运行，连续11年实现货运量突破1亿吨，并连续3年突破1.5亿吨，年货运量由最初的3400万吨攀升至1.69亿吨，增长近4倍。
